Chicago Story, which aired from March to June 1982 on the NBC TV network? I remember watching it when I was 10 or 11 at the time on BBC One.

It was an ambitious attempt to tell stories that revolved around the stresses experienced by the city's legal and medical workers.

It preceded Dick Wolf's Chicago franchise trilogy, i.e. Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, and Chicago Med, and, in a way, law and order by 30 years.

The cast was led by Bond film actress Maude Adams and Christopher Talburi, and included a cast including Cratey Nelson, or Poltergeist in Incredible's fame, Vincent Baguetta, who always had that unmistakable smiley face, and Molly Cheek as attorneys, with Dennis France, Richard Lawson, and Daniel Hill Kelly as members of the police force.

The series was created by Eric Bercovici, part of the success of adapting James Clavel's Shogun for NBC.

The main film was created by Lalo Schifrin, who scored the original pilot film.

Phyllis was responsible for the second aired episode, Outside the Law, and the last one, Half a Chance, which was aired June 11th, 1982.
