I'm Raja Pradhan with the news from Tokyo.

The Japan Meteorological Agency says squall line clouds, which are bands of tall, heavy rain clouds, were behind last month's record downpours in Chiba Prefecture.

Chiba City, east of Tokyo, got about three times its normal rainfall for the entire month of August in just half a day on the 13th.

The agency's Meteorological Research Institute says a large amount of water vapor flowed toward the prefecture at that time and rose above a cold air layer over the Kanto region.

This resulted in the development of multiple storm clouds.

Researchers analyzed cloud data from weather radar and released their findings.

They said clouds towering as high as 15 kilometers developed in succession, forming the squall line type phenomenon.

The researchers say squall line type rain clouds usually move quickly, but the clouds over Chiba last month remained almost stationary, dumping heavy rain for many hours as easterly winds blocked their movements.

This was in the Light Cube Utsunomiya Arena with the attendance of 903.

Then Blue Justice 19 was the following night on September 6th in Tokane, Chiba, Japan.

In Tokane Arena, with an attendance of 1,258.

And then we had Road to Destruction Night 2, which was today, Wednesday, September 9th, in Kork Hall in Tokyo, with a reported attendance of 1,000.

A couple of notes about Blue Justice, though.

First of all, it did another 1,200 people in Chiba.

Strong turnout.

It was down from last year, Jeremy, but I look back at last year, and there's a solid reason it's down.

And so, but this is a perfectly good attendance about what blue justice does.

And 1200 for a house show that is still in the general metropolitan area of Tokyo.

I mean, one of the, I'm using air quotes here, Tokyo airports is in Chiba.

And then March, I signed up for this drone pilot school that's in Chiba.

So it's actually very close to where I used to live because I lived up in Adachin.

And my company was going to pay for the transport going and commuting there every day.
