Chevrolet Corvette C7

Well, brand-newish car.

It's a 2018 Corvette Grand Sport, and it is a C7 orange.

The orange is ungodly perfect color for this car.

It's perfect.

I'm not, I'm not fond of that.

Uh, several, when I say several, a lot of C8s were there, C8 Corvettes.

There were some C7s, C5s, C6s.

I'm gonna say that '80s one was maybe a C4, and when he was trying to start it up you'd just hear it kick over [imitates car engine] for like two minutes and fucking it cranked up.

Yes, the differential and transmission look like a single unit in a 911.

Or is it a C5, C6, C7 Corvette situation where it looks like a transactional, but it's actually a separate transmission differential bolted together? So automotive omnivore, here is a, I found this really cool sort of picture of a 944, like basically drivetrain with no body.

And you could see there's an engine in the front.

There's a torque tube.

You forgot one.

It's Solstice at the bottom, then Fiero, then equivalent follow-up to the C7 front engine, then it's the C8 up top.

Front engine, yeah.

That's four cars underneath the Corvette brand, and I bet you they would all sell.

The Solstice is 30, the Fiero is 50.

Yeah.

The C7 carryover is 70 to 80, and the C8 or C9 follow-up is 100.

Boom.

C8 has really changed that.

Like if you go on TikTok, there's a lot of really young people that own C8s because it looks like no other Corvette on the road, right? C7 to C6 was kind of like a slightly more aggressive old man car.

C6 to C5 was a slightly faster old man car.

I'm being harsh here.

It's a beautiful drive there.

Actually, Atlanta Motorsports Park is also where they held the C7 Grand Sport ride and drive.

And I was lucky enough to go on that one.

Some fabulous mountain roads there.

They had that ZR1X that just set the Pike's Peak record.

And then a couple of Heritage Grand Sports.

I saw a C7 in the shot as well.

They did that, and then they hustled up those cars, and we got to see Josh and Austin.

"That is the one that I would buy." But I would disagree with the concept that a f- that a Corvette should be front engine, because there is one guy [laughs] that was very influential in Corvette's history who believed the opposite.

Military guests C7 and senior, summer whites.

C6 and junior, dress whites with ribbons.

Chevrolet ended with the C7, which is a great car.
