Yeah, so I obviously had a great relationship with Chevrolet because of our status with them.

The big giant boats and stuff.

But tonight we're talking about interiors and you showed me some interiors from, now these from like the '90s you're guessing, these cars?

S- some are from like, from maybe '80s, like eight- late '80s and like some into the '90s then, like some early to, one of them's early 2000s.

Um, and really like to maybe set some context is a lot of people like rag on like, you know, say Corvettes and like some like American cars, especially in like the, like the early 2000s, 2010s for like interior quality and, and you know, just the, the-

Yeah.

And I was gonna say, I told you this earlier, but I'm gonna tell you this right now 'cause while you're listening to the podcast, is that when you look at, uh, interior designs from like the '90s vehicles, even moving to n- to the, some of the newer ones today.

But in the '90s for sure, the interiors themselves, like the interior dash, for some weird reason also had to be aerodynamic.

[laughs] Yep.

Because even NA Miatas at this point are getting pretty expensive.

And if I could buy even an older Corvette for the same amount of money, I would rather have a... c4 corvette than an na miata because the miata is a fun handling car believe it or not c4 corvette's also a fun handling car it's got 285 width rear tires you put some sticky rubber on it handled pretty well and the corvette's got a v8 right but

the

miata will last forever

I got...

I got my C4 for $10,000 with a manual, and I would rather have my $10,000 C4 Corvette back than a $9,000 Miata.

It is a hot

My dad had buddies who used to do this all the time after he retired from being a judge.

I remember he had a buddy who had a C4 Corvette and he was given a ticket.

And my dad's philosophy was always like, if the cop writes you up for the wrong thing, it's actually okay to type it up.

Because a lot of times a policeman won't cite the right law.

He was under 55.

What was the actual charge? It should have been exhibition of speed because either his tires were squealing or something, but they wrote it up for being too fast.

And my dad helped him prepare a defense where he like took pictures of the C4 Corvette's tires and they're 275 millimeter wide.

He's like, it's not unsafe for this car to go around a corner faster than most cars, right? And I think he beat the ticket.
