Chet Edwards

If I don't like Congress, the first person I'm going to look at is the person that represents me and decide whether I like my congressman or not.

My congressman used to be Chet Edwards.

A Democrat? And you know what? I like Chet Edwards.

He was he's a super guy, but he was not a good congressman because, well, I'm just talking about the way he voted.

He was a Democrat.

I would also say a thing that doesn't get mentioned as much about 2006, but we did not lose an incumbent.

And at the time, we had Chet Edwards sitting that represented the Crawford Ranch, right? Most Republican district that was held by a Democrat, we held it.

Jim Matheson in Utah.

We had some pretty crazy seats that were on our front line, and we didn't lose one of them.
