So I've chose Chespin.

I didn't find a single shiny Chespin.

I got one.

Yeah, I caught three shiny trophies.

three shiny Froakies, one of them being after I got the Hundo with the background, so I was pretty peeved about that.

A Finnegan, Mareep, an Electrike, a Molga, two Skarmories, an Aerodactyl, a Phalanx, and a Chespin.

So our bonuses for this event are going to be Remote Rate Limit increased to 30 until September 4th.

We're going to have a branch timed research that will give us a choice of Chespin, Finneken, and Froakie.

And this will... receive the corresponding Go Past Mega Final Path, whatever that means.

And then Pokemon caught from the Mega Raids during this event will have the Mega themed special background again.

Yeah, so a lot of counters are going to be Pikachu, Bellsprout, Starmie, Dragonite, Skarmory, Chespin, Finnegan, Froakie, Inkay, and Fairlynx.

All of which can be shiny.

A little bit of bonuses, you know, a remote raid pass limit increased to 30 from Monday to September 4.

Time ratio will be available to choose Chespin, Fenneskin, and Froakie.

And Pokemon caught from Mega Raids during the Mega Ascension event may have Mega Evolution Team special background.

Yeah, that's the week leading up to Mega Finale.

So it just basically is, if you think about it, another Mega finale, another GO Fest event just on the summer ends.

It says, "During the lead-up to the main event weekend, trainers can choose Chespin, Fennekin, or Froakie to begin a Mega Evolution focused journey leading to Mega Evolution them, Mega Evolving them into Mega Chesnaught, Mega Delphox, or Mega Greninja." That's the reason why the, you know, the nice little picture on top.

If you haven't seen their Megas, this is their Megas and how they look, so that's pretty cool.

[lips smack] Uh, then during the Mega Finale f- uh, Weekend, challenge Mega Mewtwo X and Y during Super Mega Raids to collect Mewtwo with a special background.

So I'll, I'll take any background I can get.

Especially this one, they just Mega Evolve your Pokémon and all that, so that's pretty cool, I guess.

[laughs] Uh, there's al- of course, new avatar items, which is the Chespin, I'm sorry, Chesnaught, Delphox, and Greninja T-shirts.

So, uh, we'll start with the, um, the GO Fest Mega Finale first.

So start your journey by completing branching timed research, where you can choose Chespin, Fennekin, or Froakie.

Complete this timed research to get a GO Pass Mega Finale, uh, which includes rewards to help you Mega Evolve the Pokemon you ch- you chose.

Oh, you only get to choose one.

So, [laughs] so you might need to deal with Chespin for the Mega Chestnut.

Uh, I mean, I suppose I-

Uh, Unowns in the versions of T, W, S, G, M, Y, P, H, T, and H all can be shiny, as we know all of the, uh, Unowns aren't now shiny in the game.

Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie.

Again, everything off the incense can be shiny, if you're lucky.

If you're very lucky.

Yep, I'm going to be grinding mega raids all week.

And we do also have wild encounters of the, it looks like the pre-evolutions of all of these, as well as the incoming new mega evolutions of the starters, Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie.

It's just sort of thematic.

You don't need any of them for any real reason, but they're out there.

Remote raid pass limit will be increased to 30 from Monday, August 31st to Friday, September 4th.

There will be branch timed research to choose between Fennekin, Chespin, or Froakie and receive the corresponding go-pass mega finale pass.
