We're a little bit out in the boonies.

Friday, October 3rd is my wife's birthday.

On Friday, October 30th, we're opening up the Pondiga Ranch Cherry Valley for something we're calling Pumpkins by the Pond.

It's a whimsical Halloween experience.

But something has changed.

And over the last decade, living and working here in the foothills and mountains of Southern California through Oak Glen and Forest Falls, Cherry Valley, I've watched the relationship between wildlife, people, and our water features get a whole lot more interesting.

Now, over the past, uh, Five, six years, we've had massive wildfires rip through tens of thousands of acres around us.

And I've watched bears start showing up at ponds that they ignored for 20 years.

But something has changed.

Now...

Over the last decade, most of you know that we purchased a ranch in the foothills of Southern California in this beautiful town called Cherry Valley.

And we've been living here in Cherry Valley and working up in Oak Glen and the upper levels of Yucaipa.
