But there's plenty of action getting started for players in Texas, other players in Northern California.

Oliver Miller, I would also throw into that.

If people aren't aware of that name, they will be because he's actually a true freshman from Cherry Creek High School in Denver, and he's just different than most freshmen.

So I think, you know, there's a lot of work to do, but they haven't shied away from trying to move on and away from the injuries.

Everyone's wondering about the wide receiver group, too.

He's going to be a fantastic player in this program.

He's from Cherry Creek High School in Denver, coached by a friend of mine, Dave Logan, who's the radio voice of the Broncos.

Really, really good football player.

For his age and what have you, he's far ahead of the curve.

Tell us a little bit about your journey to Wyoming.

You played high school at Cherry Creek High School in Denver and for a really good club team.

Colorado is a state that is known for producing really good Division One soccer players.

And obviously they have a pro team now.

The best guys are playing Three guys mentioned, Oliver Miller, who's a true freshman who, when asked by Cole, um, just who's the true freshman that has stood out and is just making the best of his first experience as a college athlete, Oliver Miller.

Oliver Miller is 6'6", 294 pounds from Centennial, Colorado, which he just so happens to be from the same high school, Cherry Creek, as George Fitzpatrick, who is, you know, in a line of kind of somebody he's replacing potentially, uh, in a way.

You know, this is somebody that obviously Colin mentioned very early, had offers from places like Ohio State.

He took a visit to Ohio State.

Big, big recruiting win for CSU football.

Local star, Jaden Fox, who won multiple championships at Cherry Creek.

That's a bit of a mouthful.

He is a CSU Ram, was at one point committed to play for Mora at UConn, flipped to UCLA late, intended to sign there.

They're accustomed to it.

They don't have... to learn all that when they get to campus.

And certainly what Dave Logan has done at Cherry Creek over the last decade plus, it's the standard for high school football in Colorado.

I know he's a controversial figure.

So we'll see how that goes.

And then Cherry Creek is on the road against Ralston Valley.

Ralston Valley trying to shrug off this 0-1 start and get right back to business.

Thunder Ridge hosts brand new program Lutheran in a game while the two brand new programs in Sierra and Liberty will square off against each other down in the Springs.

So lots of interesting stuff.

Friday, August 21st, we have Doherty playing what I believe is their first game against Palmer.
