So according to police and fire authorities on Thursday, they received reports of a snake bite incident at around 11.25 a.m. Tuesday.

The calls were actually made by the 14-year-old male student who was bitten by a cobra at an apartment in Seowon District, Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province.

Police investigation revealed that the student was bitten while taking out the cobra he had been raising to sell to someone else.
