Chen Geng

You don't break into the fortress.

You apply for a job managing its paperwork, and they executed the exact same strategy against the Nationalist Army's high command, which brings us to the legend of Chen Geng.

I love this part.

Chen Geng's operational history reads like a Hollywood script.

He comes from a wealthy landowning family and is highly educated in Confucian texts, but he rejects his background, secretly joins the CCP, and enrolls in the Huangpu Military Academy.

Right.

And during a chaotic military campaign against a warlord, the nationalist forces are ambushed.

In the heat of battle, Chen Geng physically intervenes and saves the life of the nationalist commander, Chiang Kai-shek.
