There's just so much good music around at the moment that it's hard to lock in a time and place to re-listen to stuff like this, but I did enjoy my first listen experience, so shout out Mick Jenkins and Greenslime on that.

Chelsea Wolfe is one of my all-time favorite rock artists.

The Dark is her ninth studio album and...

It's full of huge production and huge sounds.

Yeah, we are going to be talking about, before we get into all of our hyperblast business and more admin fare, we are going to be talking about not last weekend, because last week, if you've been listening along with us, then last week we had our release reviews show for the end of August.

So if you didn't hear that and you want to hear what we make about the new Chelsea Wolfe Album, the new Weezer album, the gold album Weather, Electric, Cool Boys Tansneed even qualifies As an album A few interesting picks from the underground as well You can find all of that in last week's episode Do go check it out But, so not last weekend The weekend prior to that was uh a happening let's call it that as i'm kind of alluding to here we have been looking forward to for a long long time it was not one consolidated you know festival weekend or anything like that but sort of a makeshift one uh filled you know comprising of various shows all happened to fall at the same kind of time but there was brilliantly a A kind of a cohesiveness And a kinship between them So it is something that we Amongst ourselves have kind of started Colloquially calling Big Goth Weekend Primarily Perrin and Sam's Big Goth Weekend But you Mark were even involved with some of that I know that Elliot obviously last week Was talking about some of the All Points East goings on As well So what we have to talk about really Is we already spoke about Your Big Goth Weekend Big Goth Week even being extended to it Because it included Chelsea Wolfe's performance In London which even that Thematically fit into it But what we really have to talk about here is we have The Cure coming for a headline run of shows off the back of their newest album, which is now like approaching two years old, crazily.

But we were looking forward to those shows, and both you and I, Sam, got to see The Cure for the first time.

even more crazily than that, you might say, if you have been a follower of, I don't know, this podcast, AFI Watch, let's call it, is the return, finally, of AFI, a mythical band to fans in the UK, because they did not want to go anywhere near us for a long, long time.

But let us really now round up this episode with the release roundup for these past two weeks.
