Yeah, I think I had this totally roundabout way of getting into climbing.

So growing up, I was always into Girl Scouts and doing stuff outside.

And in high school, I was a Girl Scout camp counselor, and they had a climbing wall there.

And I remember like our first training, we had to belay the campers on this like rinky dink little like 20 foot wall that is not made by people who climb.

But they like set everything up and they were like, well, everyone needs to know how to belay.

And they did like a demonstration and then I got put on a Grigri and they were like, that looks great.

What else would you add to that?
