Ché Ahn

Yeah, so I think this is where we overlap.

I think you have similar roots to PDI, People of Destiny International, and I first met Che Ahn, who was a PDI pastor back in 1986.

Okay.

I was 19 at that time.

There's young people who are in our formative years.

For me, it was just some existential angst that I had about, you know, what's the meaning of life and why am I depressed as a young person right now and what's going on? And And I came into that church in 1984, and I stayed through 89, and I had connections with it in the early 90s, too.

And Che Ahn actually married my wife and I. I mean, we were close to Che and Lou Engle.

You knew Lou Engle, I assume?

And it's almost like another life when I was an evangelical years and years ago.

Che Ahn was a speaker at the Jan- one of the January 6th rallies.

We- were you there the days before and January 6th?

I wasn't there on January 6th.

We have pointed out the contradiction of that.

You can go watch our, uh, Ch- some of our Che Ahn videos.

Mm-hmm.

Where we point out that, uh, as, as late as 2019, Che Ahn's book, Modern Day Apostles, which was endorsed by Bill Johnson, foreword by Bill Johnson, I believe, um, was openly using the term and, and bragging essentially about the term, and saying, uh, "The New Apostolic Reformation is great.

All my friends are a part of it." [laughs]

You're right.

It's the fastest.

Che Ahn called the New Apostolic Reformation the fastest growing movement in world Christianity.
