So the pasuk by chelev, Rabba say, says, [Hebrew] The pasuk says, "The nefesh who eats it will be, will be, will suffer the penalty of karis." Rabba say, "If you look at Rashi, Rashi says over here, [Hebrew] So Rabba say, "So the Gemara's understanding over here, the lashon of nefesh, which we normally translate as a person, actually refers to a much more expansive concept.

The nefesh means anything which gives you benefit." Where do we get this from? Parshah Chayei Sarah.

When Avraham Avinu approaches Ephron, he says to Ephron, [Hebrew] So Rabba says, "Ultimately, [Hebrew] if it is your will, if it is your desire." So the Gemara understands over here that the lashon of nefesh means anything which satisfies your desire.

Therefore, again, Rabba say, "Which means what?" Essentially, for our purposes, anything which gives you benefit.

Give mutual approval before the wedding." And we find that one of the major prayers in the Bible, one of the first prayers in the Bible, was the prayer uttered by Eliezer.
