Chauncey Wiggins

Almanza's not going to average 30, but if he averages 22 or so, that's eight other minutes.

Those go to Jefferson and Funches, and if he ever gets eligible, Chauncey Wiggins can slide up there, and you kind of just have a gaggle of guys filling in those spots.

I think that's an ideal scenario.

I think we are looking at a situation where even if Jopp cleans up the foul issues, Gonzaga is relying on those three players a relatively similar amount.

So apparently Lee is eligible, as is Javon Bennett, who wasn't a factor.

He came in off the bench in this one, but they did not have Chauncey Wiggins.

He was deemed ineligible, so this is what the, looks like what the Bulldogs lineup is gonna look like.

Braden Huff played the entire game but wasn't a huge factor.

Certainly would hope that we'll forget about it in the sense that it doesn't keep becoming an issue because two of these players could have their eligibility change at any time.

And Javon Bennett and Xavier Lee and obviously Chauncey Wiggins, I think will be part of the rotation when he gets eligible, if that happens for him.

But yeah, I think every year I've been doing this for five, six years covering this team now every year.

we coming into the season we think how on earth will mark few only play eight guys he's gonna have to play nine or ten guys there's way too many talented players in this roster and every year mark few plays eight and somebody just doesn't get into the rotation and luca foster is probably the player most people would want to see more of i think he'll play plenty this year he just didn't get in as one of the the top eight uh in this game but yeah a tight rotation fogle played 33 and a half minutes huff played over 35 which is probably not Super ideal for Gonzaga to have Huff playing that many minutes, but he didn't have a great game, but I don't think he looked overwhelmed.

But gosh, you know, I mean, this team is big, they're old and they got a lot of depth.

And that's not even counting potentially Chauncey Wiggins is another elite six foot, eight wing shooters waiting on potential eligibility.

So, you know, they do have some five and five exposure.

And, you know, if, some kind of unforeseen circumstance comes down in the middle of the year where the international guys or the five and fives are not eligible.

Xavier Lee and Javon Bennett should be good to go.

It's just Chauncey Wiggins that they're not too familiar with.

But it seems like in terms of a national championship ceiling, they're going to need all these guys to play ball this year.

Yeah, Wiggins for sure too.
