Château Pavie

Tell me a little bit about Chateau Pavi and this vintage and why this bottle became such a hot, hot button.

I find this story with Chateau Pavie 2003 incredibly entertaining, I have to say.

Our little wine world, you know, which is very niche in the big world, we don't get much entertainment like that.

But of course, you know, when Jancis came out with her review, and I think both Robert Parker and Jancis were reviewing the 2003 vintage En Primera.

We'd just come back from Yosemite, so I wasn't exactly in the melee of everyday life.

So I did a bit of research.

And then I saw that, because I think Parker was quite friendly with Gérard Peirce, the owner of Chateau Pavie.

And he didn't agree with my opinion.
