When Nick Kroll first started really calling the shots and we had that offseason where, of course, we get rid of Sonny Gray for Chase Petty, I'm not happy about that.

I start to see the writing on the wall.

You end up with the winker in Suarez.

But yeah, Carter Graham, fun name.

Number 14, this is a guy you know, Chase Petty.

He's really awful this year in the majors.

It was like Chase and

Chase.

I know that they were never comped, but Chase Burns, Chase Petty, they were always kind of in your head at the same time, but they've gone opposite directions.

Yeah, exactly.

So Chase Petty, he actually did okay in the minors this year.

They're going to have to go get guys to fill roles because as, as, Fun as he is when he's on, I don't know that they can rely on Connor Phillips.

Chase Petty is going to be transitioning from starter to reliever.

I don't know what that looks like.

There's a lot of question marks there.

What that means is the Reds are looking at a whole lot of what are we going to do? Because gone is Julian Aguiar.

Gone is Chase Petty from being considered a starter.

They're looking at him.

as a bullpen guy.

But I think that aspect of it may also just, just how the Reds are may also lean into the Reds, not moving him in this off season.

We need a big offseason from Chase Petty.

We need Chase Petty to have a big offseason, come to camp, best shape of his life.

Really, he's still a wild card.

I think there's too many people that have completely given up on Chase Petty.

He's still only 23 years old right now.

He's the guy that could be kind of that wild card that could actually make this rotation feel quite a bit different next year.

We shall see.

And so I think that that would be the biggest, most impactful signing that the Reds can make.

Yeah, with the fact that the Reds are looking now at Chase Petty as a reliever, that Connor Phillips is a reliever, that Julian Aguiar is gone, they do have to bring in another starter.

And whoever gets bumped will be in Louisville as the first call-up, the sixth starter, as it were.

That's how that will work.
