Charter West Bank

When you see his photo, if you Google him, he's got the googly eyes, but he looks normal on video.

But here's Banco talking to John Walters about accepting the job.

We're in a time of a ton of change in college athletics, and i feel like my experience obviously not only at auburn but other schools i've been at uh modernizing these athletic departments because what you're seeing john's very similar to professional sports you're seeing a lot of revenue verticals and new business lines come in and so the experience i've had here at auburn the last two years really is going to come in handy but i also think too leading in a an athletic department There's no substitute for being an athletic director and having said in that role, I'll be at a different school or different conference is something I think will really come in handy as well.

The changing dynamics of basically reinventing athletic departments, you hear the word business verticals and that's where we're at now.

I had no idea.

That's a bad look for Jamie.

So here is another soundbite from Banco taking over for Jamie Pollard, of course, who's been at Iowa State for the last 20 years.

Listen, Jamie left a tremendous foundation.
