Charlotte McLean

I would say probably the best goalkeeper signing of maybe the entire league, of the players who are available.

And now you've got Charlotte McLean as well, who's back after having joined Sydney FC at the end of last season.

And so with Nat and Charlotte at centre-back, you know, it's like it's the good old days.

my God, we could be good again.

And having James now, it'll be good to have someone, like I said, with fresh ideas.

And then obviously looking at the squad, as I mentioned, a lot of familiar faces returning as well as your players, the two players you're most likely to be directly competing with in terms of playing minutes, Nat Tobin, club legend, Charlotte McLean, also a club legend.

How do you go about unsettling either of those two to get your spot in the starting lineup every week?

Yeah well obviously it's a very hard task that I've been set and I don't really think of it as like I'm obviously I am competing with them but if anything I think I'm learning from them because they have so much to offer and that was one of my decisions coming here is the experience that they have and what they've done is amazing so if anything all I'm focusing on is learning from them and trying to become better as the season goes on.

As you've touched on, a lot of turnover here for the A-League women's squad, a lot of new players coming in, a lot of familiar faces returning as well.

Charlotte McLean, Jada Wyman, you know, at the top of that list.

Nat Tobin obviously coming back from her pregnancy as well.

How do you, you know, I guess go about reintegrating yourself with the group and those players integrating in as well?

We have a really strong team as well, some big names.

So I think that it could be a really exciting matchup.

Some club legends already touched on a little bit coming back, Jada Wyman, Charlotte McLean.

What are you looking most forward to about getting to play with them?

So to come back and see a lot of the girls that I've played with previously, it's great to be back.

obviously, you know, you've got a very good cohesion with, you know, the projected starting centre-backs of Nat Tobin and Charlotte McLean.

Is it going to be nice to rekindle that?

Oh, of course.
