Charlotte Knights

Am I worried about the pitching development of this organization? Yes.

I can't name you the Charlotte Knights pitching roster.

I don't know who's available in Triple-A that can come up.

White Sox fans continue to mention Drew Thorpe.

UPI reported on social media posts from the police in the Saône-et-Loire region of France, showed deer running around erratically after consuming fermented fruit.

Lambie needs rehab? Minor League Baseball team, the Charlotte Knights, had an Anjou guest singer for the national anthem at a recent game.

McDonald's fast food chain's mascot, Ronald McDonald, took to the mic.

He sang the anthem with ease, and then went on a murder spree.

We have the Carolina Panthers.

We have the Charlotte Knights.

I mean, we have the Charlotte Crown.

They won the championship this year.

How are they doing it? Are they doing it with high draft picks 'cause they had a, a losing record for the last three seasons, or they doing it with good managers? I mean, what's the secret to success for the Chicago White Sox?

Well, I, I was able to coach with the White Sox Triple-A club in Charlotte, the Charlotte Knights, and Chris Getz, who's the GM now for the White Sox, he was actually our farm director at the time.

And Chris Getz has sat down with his people and he put the right pieces in place.

Uh, Will Venable, uh, who I know personally too, he actually is the manager now.

Patrick Manley.

Hey, what's going on, boys? How we doing? I went to the Charlotte Knights game Friday night, guys.

Oh, yeah?

Yeah, I was checking in on the... you know, 4A players for Chris Getz and the boys.

Well,

if the White Sox do, if they do win it all, and I've been calling them the Charlotte Knights because more than half of that team were Charlotte Knights.

So, yeah, if the Charlotte Knights win the World Series, man, we definitely got to get Jeff Cohen back on the podcast from Future Sox to talk to him about the White Sox championship.

That would be...

Incredible.

That's our friend, Patrick Mannelly.

And this is the fourth in our series.

This is Sox Pop on the Farm, number 73, addressing the Charlotte Knights.

And you know, normally...

Probably in past years, we've maybe never even done a Charlotte Knights, like, postseason podcast because, wow, I mean, who wants that sort of pain? Especially with the White Sox, the way they've been playing in recent years.

It's really just too much pain for any one fan to take on.

But, you know...

Okay.

Yeah.
