Um, but tell me what, what was your first thoughts when you saw this project, what it meant for Iowa and what it meant for Iowa labor specifically?

So look, I, so I did hear about it a little bit, uh, not a whole lot by any means, but before they had that weird, uh, legion of doom kind of press conference in the oval office there, uh, it's like why is the attorney general there what role does she have an economic development that should give you a clue as to like how seriously we should really uh take what is said in that room so let's anything said in that room let's like take it and throw it out the window because even the commerce secretary uh seemed to be on seemed to not even understand uh the financing of the deal the president certainly didn't know and I don't know that anybody did but before that we heard there might be a special session because there might be a major economic development opportunity that would be coming to southeast Iowa and inquiring a little bit further finding out that it's Lee County now Nathan and you and I are roughly the same age for most of our lives Lee County is probably I bet if we challenged our viewers to come up with a month and a year, there's not too many months and years in our lifetimes where Lee County hasn't had the highest poverty rate and probably the highest unemployment rate, right? And so this is a place that's desperate, desperate for these kinds of jobs.

It's also, you know, Burlington just lost case, right? They're still reeling from losing jobs.

steel castings I could go down the list of that whole area has just been hit and crushed by NAFTA which destroyed you know small manufacturing across the whole state so for that particular area it would be really really a great opportunity to I'm not talking about the tax incentives and things like that.

I'm just talking about an employer of that size scale and what could be very, very good wages and benefits would be really, really important to that area.

I'm just wondering, can you share some of the plans of unions and the union leadership with respect to how to enter into negotiations with this company and the people involved? Do you have any ideas how you're going to go about reaching out to them?
