Charlie Luken

Mm-hmm.

And, uh, the then-mayor, Charlie Luken, um, came to me and, um, came to the Cincinnati Business Council, which I w- I was a member of, and, uh, we sat down and we decided, no, we're not just gonna chase fixing another problem.

We're gonna invest In transforming the center city of Cincinnati, even if it takes five or 10 years, 10 or 20 years, 30 years.

And we're gonna bring together the city of Cincinnati, led by the mayor, Cincinnati business community, and all the other major stakeholders in the c- in the community, and we are gonna transform center city.

My point to you is that we have consultants that have taken over our direction of law enforcement in the city, and I have no idea why, right? I don't know why they're allowing consultants to drive this thing.

And it's why, you know, the difference between a John Cranley, a Charlie Luken, and what we have now, right? We have a high level of incompetence.

It's incredibly dangerous.

And right now, what I'm seeing, Dan Carroll, is crime across our 52 neighborhoods continues to grow.
