Charles Power

Also, real quick, just to add a little bit of context and to show that we will fess up to making mistakes.

Jake Fetty, this is from the, let's see, the 2026 class superlatives that rivals Charles Power did back in February.

and I saw that Jake Fetty was tagged in it, so I clicked on it.

I was like, okay, this might tell us a little something about Jake Fetty and what he's got going on.

You want to guess what superlative Charles Power gave Jake Fetty in the 2026 class.

And by the way, Fetty was a top 100 recruit last year, so he is no slouch.

I know that coming into last week, like there was some talk – weirdly by the uber that took me from the airport to our hotel that fetty was really immobile was he like tab like the fastest quarterback of last year's class

You've been high on him the entire season.

We talked to Charles Power.

Charles Power actually mentioned Jake Fetty.

Is he getting ready to start?

It has not been confirmed.

Physically, you look at what he is, 6'3.5", 215.

Rivals Charles Power wrote that Wright has a ready-made build that would not look out of place on a college football field as a 15-year-old.

And that was when he was 15.

He's 16 now.

He's just ridiculous.

Shout out, by the way, to Charles Power.

He is the number one scout at Rivals who said last year when he was coming out of high school, pound for pound, I believe Jay Timmons is the best player in the entire country.

And he was right.

there is some serious behind it.

Like, Charles Power and those guys, they take it very seriously, uh, especially when comparing it to the NFL draft.

Uh, and I think it's worth mentioning that On3 and Rivals has been one of the most accurate, uh, or the most accurate in projecting, uh, the draft picks based off their high school rankings, which i- which is how it's done.

But yeah, throw, throw the rankings out of the window once this guy gets to Notre Dame.

Again, I, I think that's due to change.

I also think as a, uh, if you are a Charles Power or if you are one of these recruiting guys and you're out on the trail and you're going to see people, or if you're a coach and you're going to see people, and some of these recruiting services rely on coaches' intel as well or, or what they think about certain prospects.

If you go to a McEachern game, there's one football player your eyes are on in the defensive backfield and it ain't the corners.

It's this super freak right here.

Wow.

So he did the, uh, uh, Charles Power, who I worked with at 247 on his, uh, on three-

Yeah

... uh, usually does, like, a assessment of how the recruiting services did-

This has got a lot of great body control to make some difficult catches.

Rivals analyst Charles Power was on, um...

He was talking about a one-handed grab at the Under Ar- uh, Under Armour All-American game.

Royal made a catch through quality coverage from five-star Joshua Dobson.
