Charles Hawtrey

And everybody was like, "Oh, it's mysterious." [laughs] No, it's not.

It was Charles Hawtrey.

Do you know that? Do you know Charles Hawtrey, Carry On films?

Oh, yes.

Yeah, yeah.

And, uh, one time he fell asleep, and, uh, uh, they set fire to the bed.

Mm.

And so him and the sailor were rescued by the, uh, the fire service, but when they got him to the street, right, Charles Hawtrey was totally naked.

So they had Follow That Camel and Don't Lose Your Head, which was the French Revolution one.

That's that great thing where Charles Hawtrey's about to get his head cut off, and someone says, "Oh, there's a message for you." He says, "Pop it in a basket, I'll read it in a minute." [laughs]

If you showed an old British movie, did that count towards the quota?

Yes, it did.
