And the man who was in charge of that was a man by the name of C.D. Jackson.

Later that November, they sat for another long interview with representatives from NICAPS.

C.D. Jackson and Robert E. Homan had reviewed the tapes of the initial conversation, and now they wanted to go deeper, trying to pin down details of timing and location.

I'm a Bitburger, which means he supported Ronald Reagan's visit to the Bitburg Cemetery in Germany, and the Jews went ballistic over this because they claimed there were SS soldiers buried there.

And this probably confused the American public quite a bit.

And the public didn't realize that C.D. Jackson, who was the publisher of Time Life, had worked closely with the CIA in the 1950s in a number of high-level propaganda operations.

So it probably made it more difficult for the public to realize where the forensic evidence might take them and as evidence to time life's connections to the national security establishment at the time.

I think Jackson, if I recall, was in 1953.

About 2,000 people, Germans, had to be marched out, and they come, and there's this show.

They did just the most horrendous things, way worse than anything you ever heard about the fucking Holocaust.

And then when you come to realize all the Holocaust shit, like when C.D. Jackson shows up at Buchenwald and he presents the table with the lampshade of human skin and the pelvis ashtrays and all the tattoos that were all fake.

It's acknowledged as fake today.

And all those props mysteriously disappeared.

Who picked it up was Life magazine.

But Life magazine, the guy who was in charge of Life magazine was a guy named C.D. Jackson.

Mm-hmm.

C.D. Jackson was the head of the OSS Psych Warfare division during World War II.

Jesus.

And he was the guy at Buchenwald who faked that entire table of, like, the lampshades of human skin-
