Um, I, I didn't, I wasn't really referencing any specific protests or riots.

Uh, so the stories that I told, you know, a lot of, you know, explanation, um, you know, I learned where I was writing, I used to write ad copy.

And one of the things that I learned is that when you're trying to explain something technical, it helps to tell a story.

At that point, what I was trying to explain were functions.

And I'll recap what I said in the book to introduce the idea of functions is that, you know, if an archaeologist holds a rock in his hand, that rock is physical evidence, okay? If he takes a picture of the rock, he's performing a function on the rock.

Most information that you acquire comes to you by way of these functions, okay? um so because most people will never have the opportunity to hold the rock in their hand and so then i went on to an analysis of functions um and i chose to help explain my my you know i i i came up with characteristics of functions and then i came up with characteristics of causation assignments Because what people do is they take the functions and then they organize that and extrapolate it into a causation assignment.
