Chapin Memorial Library Central Library

Like Coastal Carolina had to talk about a performing arts center, it'd be a great spot to go in their lobby, and I thought right there by the highway, but they don't know where they are in the, in their planning, so it could be 2035 before that's available.

I've always hoped that, when I was still on council, we had looked at moving the library downtown, and of course that all changed, but that if we ever did a Chapin Library, that you could put the Hall of Fame in there, along with the Myrtle Beach History Museum, because you have a curator's dream.

You've got all the stuff you need to put exhibits together, It would be perfect, and it would help, I think, if we did a museum or that component in the Checkman Library, it would help because it would be the official Hall of Fame, and then the state would probably help you with the rest of the Myrtle Beach part of the museum.

So I thought that would be a great partnership, but again, that's down the road a piece.
