ATVO ran a test pattern on Saturday morning.

So to fill the void for four hours, David Joseph, who produced Commotion, came up with this idea, and he sold it to Channel O for a 13-episode run.

And that's all he thought it would last, but it was wrong.

Five years later, it was still going.

You know what I'm hearing here is a chance here with these shows, whether it's called Uptide or Happening 71 or 2, whatever, is a chance for people to sort of learn their craft, to learn how to be rock musicians and pop musicians on a Saturday morning out at Channel O. I don't know if that exists today, does it, on TV?
