And then after that, you've got some growth from LeapMotor and Geely, who are up 0.7% along with Polestar.

But actually, the interesting ones are, there are three interesting ones that then come next, which is Shanghai, which they've been going since last year, and they're still at only 0.2%.

They've got the network, but they need to get the sales out.

XPain, which really, interestingly, they've announced that they're changing how they've reached market by going direct and not using IM Group.

Because they're tracking up, will they really go for it? Will Shanghai really go for it? Because, you know, Shanghai needs to get off 0.2% to get itself up to 0.5% pretty quickly to support its network.

So I think it's some of the level two, level threes, going back to my tier analogy.

Now, SAIC, on the other hand, just got MG, but Great Wall Motor, BYD, okay, maybe not BYD, but you know, like Chery and Great Wall Motor or maybe some other brands which I'm not gonna mention.

Okay, I can mention like, like Changan, you know?

Why didn't they go in and say, "Hey, Holden, we'll buy, buy your name," and then keep the factory going but plonk in the Chinese engineering and technology in a Holden badge?

It's a Deepal, right? Basically.

It's a Changan build.

Um, so.

But with Mazda styling.

Uh, "I'm not worried about the influx of brands into, into Australia.

They all fall under the umbrella of only a few manufacturers." That's true.

Got BYD, Chery, Geely, Changan.

Um, yeah, hopefully Xiaomi.

It is essentially a reskinned, vaguely reskinned version of a Deepal.

So, um, Deepal being one of the brands owned by Changan.

As for the Chinese brands, they're being led in Mexico by MG, Geely, Changan, Jetour, and Soueast.

Lincoln Co., BYD, and GAC expanding their offerings.

The Electromobility Association now counts 170 models, which they call electrified.

Yeah, no.

And you know, I think if, you know, those that are aware, they know Changan, um, which is a big, big, um, organization.

They're obviously now here in the UK, they've got another model, um, imminently coming out.

But they, they've had their R&D center down in, in Birmingham near the NEC for, for a, for a couple of decades.

And, and I think one thing talking to, uh, Nick Thomas at, uh, at Changan, it, it, it gives the Chinese manufacturers that localized understanding-

... of the market, the technology, the consumer requirements.

You know, when they're talking about building transmission or suspension systems, they, they understand and they've got that local R&D to, to work on.

MG, of course, being the most famous 'cause they inherited Longbridge, which I think they still do some work at.

Um, you've got Changan or Changan or whatever you wanna call them, who have got a base in Birmingham and have had for about a decade, I think, so they're very UK focused.

But not, not so many of them do, and I was talk...

Then Changan, SAIC, HiMA, which is Huawei, I think, isn't it? Um, Chery, NIO, more SAIC, Xiaomi, and Tesla falling out of the top 10.

Actually, later was some, well, uh, car makers with, well, defense or defense contractor or arm maker background, of course, state-owned.

Uh, they also, well, somehow sneaked into this game like Changan and so on.

But, well, it is still a very restrictive list.

Uh, and actually, well, w-during our earlier discussion, we talked about, like, how elite politics played a role in this.

So, um, for example, with Geely's acquisi- acquisition of Volvo, um, the central government's, well, their initial idea is that, well, we should, well, we, we should still favor the SOE.

So what actually happened before J- uh, so, so Geely was very, uh, was very kind of like, well, nuanced or very crafted in making this deal happen, is that, well, they didn't actually move until, well, they had this, well, unwritten approval from the Chinese government, especially from the N, uh, uh, NDRC, National Development and Reform Commission.

The story was that actually, well, if you look back in those, well, news reports about like, about like who would buy, uh, Volvo, actually in late 2008, 2007 and early, like, l- in late 2008, the earliest candidates were companies like Changan, you know, the one of the major state-owned enterprise in China.

They were also, well, having this joint venture with Ford, so they became a natural partner.
