Chan Hao-ching

And now it's time for the most spicy sector when it comes to the gold final, which was the women's doubles.

There, for the gold final, it was an all-Taiwanese final between Hsieh Su-wei and Liang En-shuo, who defeated Chan Hao-ching or we call her Angel, and Wu Fang-xian, 6-4, 4-6, 10-5 in the match tie break.

According to what I also heard from a mutual summary, don't forget to check the thread made by, their handle is Hsieh_and_Wong.

They're a fan of both Su-wei and Coleman.

We call that as a family feud that dated longer than the U.S. Open no handshake several months ago between Su-wei and Angel, which was the case since Su-wei's comeback in 2023.

And the family feud went as far as the Asian Games 2014, if I'm not mistaken, regarding the Taiwanese Federation's treatment in their developments.

In this case, Su-wei alleged that the Chinese Taipei Tennis Association bended the rules to favor the Chan family numerous times, and this was peak during the World University Games in 2017, despite Latisha, Angel's sister, partnering- Cheng Peng Hsieh, Su-wei's brother, where the controversy occurred as they withdrew from that one part of the games as Latisha and Cheng Peng were secured medals, like being heat while everyone suffered from the heat or, or somewhere along those lines.

And Latisha ended up going to the US Open and won the women's doubles title with Martina Hingis, if I'm not mistaken.

Next, Bold in Blue, head of her upcoming Paris residency, which launches September 12th and marks her first return to the concert stage since her stiff person syndrome diagnosis in 2022, Celine Dion wore a gorgeous blue dress and made time to chat with fans in the City of Lights on September 5th.

Next, Venus and Serena Williams hit the court on September 4th at the US Open in New York City for a doubles match against Hao-Ching Chan and Maya Joy, who bested the sisters.

Next, Tony winner Lea Salonga became the first Filipina to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on September 4th.

And her cheering section included Ming-Na Wen, Brandy, and Darren Criss.
