Don't know if I can think of much in the 2010s where we went into an off season, like, yes, kicking ass, taking names, seemingly everything is on the rise.

So yeah, Having been there in the cart era, worked in cart on the team side, been around cart since the 80s, junior formula crew member, whatnot, moving up the ladder, but at so many of the events, then in the series itself, especially late 90s, really the peak, peak, peak, can say from actual lived, earned comparison and experience, Where we're at, the off-season of 2026 for IndyCar feels a lot like the better days of CART in the late 90s.

Not all the way there.

CART was a very different beast.

But with the exception of a couple years after, right, 2000, 2001, 2002 a little bit, CART It's been a long time since seemingly everything.

proper.

Of course, we can find 50 different things to criticize and there's plenty of stuff that pisses me off and I think is really stupid.

So, uh, but yeah, whether that's a Friday night, Saturday night, Sunday night, uh, count me in, but love the lateral thinking here.
