And it is stunning.

In episode one, she actually throws this elaborate, expensive birthday party for one of the fellow housewives, Meredith.

Keep in mind, it's a birthday party for Meredith, but Jen spends, like, hours getting ready with her glam squad.

Everyone's arriving to the party, taking pictures in front of this, like, massive flower wall that literally says Jen's Chalet, or Shah Chalet.

Then she makes this, like, grand entrance, like, wearing, like, bright pink into the party.

While a pub in the heart of the Southern Alps is getting a new lease of life after sitting empty for years, the Chalet, a Swiss-style lodge in Arthur's Pass, is being renovated and there are plans to reopen it later this year.

South Island correspondent Timothy Brown reports.

The Chalet was built in the harsh alpine climate of Arthur's Pass in the 1960s.

The man behind it was Hans Bonny, whose daughter Heidi Bonny has fond memories of its early days.

Back in the very early days, you know, Mother would play the piano, Mozart, Beethoven, and people would come in and they'd listen to this amazing music.

I have never seen him, so my interest is abstract.

I get into the chalet on Monday now.

It is the Chalet Bourgette.
