So how'd you guys, how'd you guys take a look at this and, uh, what'd you guys find?

Well, so the, the, the main thing we, we looked at about seven hundred and fifty patients who underwent a hemiarthroplasty and over five hundred patients that had a total hip arthroplasty.

We then broke these patients down via who took care of them, whether that was an arthroplasty-trained surgeon or non-arthro-arthroplasty-trained surgeon.

And then we also broke them up by was there surgery with- within thirty-six hours of treatment or was there surgery after thirty-six hours of treatment? So those are the f- the four main cohorts, if you will.

And what we found was that the patients who did the best and had the lowest outcomes were those who got treated by an arthroplasty surgeon, who, uh, immediately or within thirty-six hours.

The patients who had the worst outcomes were those who were delayed by more than thirty-six hours and treated by a non-arthroplasty surgeon.

And then the patients in the middle, which were those either delayed more than thirty-six hours and treated by an arthroplasty surgeon or treated within thirty-six hours by a non-arthroplasty surgeon, those patients did very similar.

Were these all displaced femoral neck fractures, or were, were some of them maybe, like, those tweeners that are mildly displaced, maybe a little bit of posterior comminution on the CT?
