Um, but like I said, the same energy was with Champions League when I was playing in Germany.

Some of the big international stars from that time.

Boskovic was cool.

Uh, Gontcharova from Russia and Chirichella from Italy.

Um, from what little exposure I'd had to international volleyball prior to that point, those names really stuck out to me, and they ended up in our Champions League pool with, uh, Stuttgart, so.

What were those specific interactions like? Like, do you remember meeting them after the match? Was it just purely limited to the, the high five line afterwards, or is it, like, legit conversations after done stretching or things like that?

Unfortunately, I wish I had some fun stories like that, but it was a high five line, some small talk while everyone's waiting to shuffle out of the gym.
