So you're just forced to compare across like different crags.

But I feel pretty strongly that like the best we can hope for is to make grades consistent at one area because like anyone that's traveled enough knows that 13A at Ceuse and 13A at Ten Sleep and 13A in Rifle all are gonna feel really different.

Not always necessarily just one's harder than the other, but the style of one might be more demanding in one way or another, might suit certain people, certain strengths or sizes better or worse.

Like I'll say definitely that as a first ascensionist, like if you are only doing first ascents, you get really lost.
