Central States Communication Association

And I think that, you know, you kind of gave us a little qualifier there, Julia, of like, "Well, I'm not, I don't know if I'm qualified to say that I don't...

You know, I don't know if I'm the person to speak on this." And I really try to avoid that language because I do find myself sometimes, like I recently attended a, a, a very academic conference, like the, it was the Central States Communication Association, so have, it was just like the field of communication.

And I could, I could have, I saw a choice in this moment, be k- very intimidated by how many publications and how many degrees and how ev- everyone who's got tenure, you know, have all these like markers of like elitism almost within academia.

And I'm like, "Oh, well, here I am with my measly undergrad degree." [laughs] And so that, that's one way of storying the connection.
