Anand Oberoi faced a shot about every 45 seconds on ice and Ryan Burrows faced a shot every 42 seconds.

So for all the criticism about the Central Coast Rhinos having leaking shots...

The Ice Dogs were much worse with Burrows in net.

That surprised him.

Well, probably similarly to Brisbane, right? I think Central Coast, um, were dealing with, um, player shortages as well.

I think with the Rhinos coming back, they were probably also a one-town team, right? So then all of a sudden you've got four league team who, you know...

We, we could have fielded a second team.

Like we, we were preparing for season two, we would've had a stronger team than what we did in season one, and it would've been amazing.

And that's when the Pacific was born, right? So over Christmas, New Year's, that January period, we worked really hard on and then trying to get as many teams as possible.

We had Rampage, Melbourne Ducks, and then you had the Coast and then Adelaide.

That was sort of locked in straight away.

And we were trying to get Canberra as well.

We felt the same thing up here.

But yeah, I guess in the end, we had some players that believed in us, and so did they down in Adelaide, and they came across.

And so we had a four-team league, and at the time, AI had a six-team league without Brisbane and Central Coast.
