Central Catholic High School

You know, we're talking Penn State with, you know, what they had to deal with there in that Hopewell matchup.

But last year, Alan, of all public schools that I saw, and I say that because, you know, Central Catholic is a team that we watch a whole lot, and we saw them last week, too.

Avanworth was more impressive than any other team that we saw last year.

I mean, no matter what they did, they just pounded their opponents into submission all the way through the state championship game.

He's just such a good athlete.

He can really make a difference.

We talked about the game last week, Pine Richland and Central Catholic.

We didn't think that it was likely that that one was going to be some kind of nail-biter.

I think Penn State has the potential to be a big-time player in his recruitment if they choose to be a big-time player in his recruitment as they continue to formulate the pecking order with that offensive line board in the 2028 class.

The other one... is Roman Maurizio from Central Catholic in Pittsburgh.

He's got multiple power four offers.

He's coming off a visit to Minnesota.

Strength at the point of attack, check.

Plays smart on the offensive line.

And look, I've said this when we've talked about John Sasek and all these guys at Central Catholic.

That offensive line is flat out loaded.

We've got Donnie Chedrick from 93.7 The Fan and KDKA Radio.

We've got Central Catholic cornerback in West Virginia commit Zachary Gleason.

We've got Nick Faribault from PennLive.com. We've got Pitt cornerback Rashawn Murray, who's an Obama grad.

We've got Brendan Howe from Pittsburgh Sports Now and Steelers Now.
