Center Line

Three separate plants, deliberately so that no single facility had the complete design.

The Naval Gun Factory in Washington, the Naval Ordnance Plant in Center Line, Michigan, and the Expert Tool and Die Company in Detroit.

Each plant made its part without knowing what the whole thing was.

There's a detail about the diagrams I want to get to, because it's wild.

So I already know this is going to be a good one.

I mean, we are joined as well by Michael J. Howard II, a Democrat who represents Centerline and the southern part of Warren on the Macomb County Board of Commissioners.

Michael is a small business owner as well, starting the Howard Family Designs custom furniture business back in 2016.

Furthermore, Michael serves as a director for the Madison Heights Citizens United nonprofit committed to promoting racial equality.

What we expected to get from it is just not there.

And when you close a business, that taxes off the roles.

I mean, you look at a small city like Centerline, for example, if a place closes in Centerline, Centerline is the highest taxed city in Macomb County.

Like that's a huge hit or Mount Clemens that already has a suppressed tax base.

And we have a shout out going to...

Miss Becky Sanderson at Rising Stars Academy in Centerline, Michigan, who sent us this incredible, exceedingly impressive presentation about your inspiring school, the art, the swag.

You guys, you guys are so talented.

Look at this.
