Centennial School District

We had been hearing, uh, about this holiday party for quite some time, but essentially, in late 2021, a group of former players gathered kind of, like, informally at one of their houses, and as the night wore on, they began to share more openly about some of these allegations about Jeff Stanek.

And so after that holiday party, um, Stanek was, you know, retired from teaching, but he was still coaching one day a week at Centennial, and one of the players there that night reported him to the Centennial District.

So what happened after that?

Yeah, after that, um, Stanek was placed on administrative leave, uh, pretty immediately, and Centennial began an investigation, and they reported the, this behavior also to TSPC, which is the Teacher Standard and Practice Commission in Oregon.
