Cell death

Cell lysis is a pathological death.

That's not a normal cell death.

So if you're a healthy individual, you shouldn't have a lot of cell lysis taking place.

Cell lysis is what takes place if you're poisoned.

the person's body.

But most other cell lines have a limited lifespan.

They'll live between 6 and 12, maybe 18 weeks, and then they will produce another cell, and then the mother cell, you could say, goes through a process of normal programmed cell death called apoptosis.
