And they aren't everywhere.

Like any planet that has dragons and drakes, you're going to find the same eight species or same amount of species basically of them.

Whereas the celestial dragons, there's a certain amount of them and they may, they may not be on some worlds and some they are on, you know, it depends on, you know, the requirement that's for that.

Um, as far as Asian, um, I can't remember if I mentioned the other story I had started, right.

At Sabaody, this conflict becomes impossible to ignore through the Celestial Dragons and the slave auction.

The Celestial Dragons possess extraordinary freedom precisely because everyone else beneath them is denied it.

Their privilege is like a parasite.

Their ability to act without consequence is contingent upon a hierarchy that denies that same autonomy to others.

You kinda learn about the warlords and how one of them has abused their power to take over the kingdom and try to turn it into a civil war.

And I feel like we have seen the corrupt ways in which, maybe not the individual Marines, as you were saying, go about their job, but in which they are upholding these fascist and corrupt regimes.

And here it is, like, the most blatantly on display, especially in Sabody with the introduction of the nobles or the Celestial Dragons, and seeing that, like, oh, these are the people at the top of the world that the Marines are, like, again, not at the individual level, but at the collective level, trying to protect the world order for.

[laughs] It truly is.

But of course, that also means he's nearby the, uh, human shop, where the pirates attack the Celestial Dragons.

[laughs] It's like, wait, who did that? What did they do to the Celestial Dragons? [laughs] It's, it's like, "That's a taboo of the highest order.

We're close to Navy HQ.

It's suicide to attack one here." And he's like, "Oh, God, them again." [laughs]

Like, it, it, it goes to show, you know, it, it's...

There are shades of gray to the, th- to the Marines.

Like, the Marines as a function of society can survive post the take bring down of the Celestial Dragons.

Now, it may not have come directly from the Five Elders, because we know, obviously, as you go on, you learn a little bit more about Dolph Lamingo, Dolphie, and his relationship with the Celestial Dragons and the Five Elders.

And there's a lot to unpack there, and it would need its own episode to try and get into the mind of Dolph Lamingo and all his ramblings.

So he was there as well for his own personal entertainment.

So that was a massive deterrent, this idea that the certain territories within the New World was flying the banner and the flags of pirate crews that basically were there to deter other pirates from messing with those islands.

And this doesn't just extend to the idea of protecting these locations from other pirates and bandits.

It was also a massive discouraging factor to the Celestial Dragons and as well as the World Government and the Marines because you've got to remember that Marineford wasn't ideal.

like a couple of the characters being there was just was just like how did you get here oh okay you're also here but i mean i guess i wasn't as bothered by the charles thing as you like i was just like yeah this makes sense for her to to do this uh the if you you gotta put put him in here you gotta address that in some way but i do get your point somewhat

I guess like, I don't, I don't agree with this idea that like we needed to address the celestial dragon bit.

Like we, we, I'm sure we know celestial dragons suck and they're probably trapped too if they were watching the concert.

And none of them are dressed up in the typical ways of the, um, Celestial Dragons.

Yeah, which, which makes me think that they probably are the, probably are Holy Knights.

It would make sense.
