Celeste Aida

Calling for taking time out of his very busy schedule to speak with us this week.

To conclude this repeat episode of PD Heart Pediatric Cardiology today, we end with the beautiful aria that opens Act I of Verdi's Aida, entitled Celeste Aida.

This is considered one of the most difficult or challenging arias in all of the operatic tenor repertoire for two main reasons.

First, the tenor has to come out on stage in the first moments of the opera without almost any warm-up and sing what is a very exposed aria and one which the audience is very familiar with.
