When I first saw this headline, I thought, "Well, maybe the silver lining is that this didn't happen." But if you dig into the details, the real case here is that it almost did, right? You had, right before launching the operation, officials realizing that AI was used in creating the report, and that it was wrong.

A US official says the team also inspected a liquid natural gas tanker around the same time due to similar concerns.

When you hear about these vessels possibly being hacked by foreign actors, what do you think, what are the major concerns?

All of those things are really part of the reason that Saudi Arabia exists.

They're basically the guardian of the sh- of the shrines there, and if, uh, they lose that role because of an attack, uh, if that, if this, uh, the religious areas are damaged, then it calls into question their legitimacy to control that, and that is why this is such a dangerous situation.
