Cavender's

He got taken out of his sleeping locations this morning and moved to Big Tex Circle, so he's out there chilling and waiting to be lifted at 10 a.m. tomorrow morning.

His new outfit from Cavenders, Levi's, Resist All and Shiner and Lucchese, I mean, I want to buy it.

It's that good.

Pretty expensive

So Cavenders is making a Pearl Snap shirt.

Resist All is making a new 95-gallon hat.

He's going to have a new pair of size 96 Lucchese boots.

Boot Barn's destination-off-mall format does not meet that definition.

Department stores could not replicate a 3,000-pair boot assortment, but they have no strategic interest in doing so, while regional peer Cavenders operates essentially the same format.

The tactile fitting advantage over online-only retail is real, but it represents an industry category characteristic rather than a proprietary power.

This reflects a favorable market structure that Boot Barn exploits effectively, rather than a unique competitive barrier.

And guys, this is exciting.

Cavender's revealed Big Tex's new look for the State Fair of Texas yesterday.

So the shirt design blends classic Western style with a distinctly Texas story.

Um, Cavender's has come up with the style, color palette, and the overall direction of the design.

But what's really cool is before this collab with Cavender's, the fair was only switching up Big Texas shirt design every three years, but now they're gonna evolve the shirt every year-

... with new elements.

I just think he should get some jeans with, like, I don't know, maybe a little padding so his butt's not so flat.
