That was the Friday night.

the Sunday morning I had to go back to A&E because during that time I'd had no bladder function at all went back in and at first they didn't believe me the nurse was like pressing on my stomach and she's like are you sure you haven't emptied your bladder because you're not distended it's like well I definitely haven't wet myself so and I know I drink a lot of water she scanned me and I had um just under a litre and a half of urine in my bladder which they then catheterised me and drained at that point everything suddenly got very serious and it was MRI straight away lie there don't move someone's coming to talk to you and that's when I found out that I'd got something called cauda equina syndrome

can you say that again because it's not something that I think people are going to be familiar with

no cauda equina syndrome and what does that mean So at the bottom of your spinal cord, the nerves spread out a bit like a horse's tail.

If you can imagine that.

And that is your cauda equina nerves.

And what had happened was the disc, people slip discs.

It's kind of an everyday thing.
