It's so much fun playing with these people.

She's fantastic.

Drew Gold, our guitar player, is magnificent.

And then the evolution of it all is a very complicated story.

But eventually, like landing locally in Chicago and Kathy Richardson's band, who sings for Jefferson Starship these days, she her band was doing really well.

She was she had her own material out.

Her records were selling.

That was very exciting for me at the time.

I mean, still would be, but that was a great opportunity for me.

yeah different things led to different advancements like kathy richardson landed a role as janice joplin in a musical love called love janice i know a bit yeah and that's what brought me to new york city so that show came here and i was in the band trying to keep the long story short but my story is pretty long and then through still continuing to go back and do the world stage gigs one of the people that was there every year was kelly keggy from night ranger so i was playing maybe three songs with kelly once a year for about seven years by the time that whole possibility came along.

They were working between Jeff Watson, their parting ways with Jeff Watson, and hiring me.
