Because that is one of the things I've been trying to do with my endless rom-com.

And I was inspired by Catherine Newman and her book, the one before Sandwich, the one about the woman dying.

So there's something bad was going on.

Yeah.

[laughs] So yeah, those are some that come to mind for me, I think.

And then in terms of people, I think I would love to spend time with the families in Catherine Newman's book.

Oh, yeah.

Like, all of those funny people sharing delicious meals, and just everything feels really lived in and cozy and, and not fancy and welcoming.

My own things that I've read that I feel very strongly about.

I think among the strangest ailments I've ever heard about was from former guest and friend, Catherine Newman.

I love Catherine Newman.

Love her.

But she has no burping

You know, not necessarily romance, but I do think there's something about the humor in Catherine Newman's books, plus the detail, like the food-

... as well as laughing," then check out Catherine Newman if you're, I don't know, living under a rock or something.

so many authors that you love have been on Books, Beach, and Beyond.

Like there's a Catherine Newman episode, there's a Lily King episode, there's a Barbara Kingsolver episode.

Like, there are a lot that you would like in that archive.

And then as far as publishing intel goes, I listen every week to the, specifically the Shooting the Shit episodes of The Shit No One Tells You About Writing, which is their Monday episodes that they do every Monday except for the last Monday of the month.
