Cathedral of St. John the Divine

Inundated with letters of condolence from major scientific and political figures all over the world, such as Eleanor Roosevelt, the wife of the US president, the Vice President Henry Wallace, and a host of Nobel laureates.

Tesla's funeral took place at St. John the Divine Cathedral in New York City on the 12th of January, where it was attended by over 2,000 people and presided over by members of the Serbian Orthodox Church.

Afterwards, Nikola Tesla, who by the end of his life boasted over 700 patents to his name, was cremated, and his ashes were placed inside a golden sphere, which is still exhibited at the Tesla Museum in Belgrade.

Following his death, the US government were curious as to whether among Tesla's surviving notes there could be information to help them in the war effort, and so they investigated his documents but found nothing of profound importance.

Then, calmly, she drank in the view of New York at night as lights turned on against the enveloping darkness.

To the left, on Amsterdam Avenue, was an angel perched against the sky on the highest point of the Cathedral of St. John the Divine.

Trumpet raised, the angel sounded a flourish of unheard celestial music to unhearing earthly ears below.

To the right, Broadway stretched downtown into the night as far as she could see.

And the funeral was in New York.

I think it was at St. John's Divine.

In fact, I'm pretty almost I'm almost sure it was.

And of course, everybody was there.

We go into that church.

And Monty, the best thing about this church, kind of reminds me a little bit of St. John the Divine, is their murals.

So St. John has murals too.

Look at this.

While I'm in New York, though, there are a couple churches that I really want to connect with.

And one of them is Trinity Wall Street and then St. John the Divine.

I would love to collaborate with them.

And so I'm going to be reaching out to them soon and inviting them to the show, trying to make that connection happen.

It's an incredible gift to have.

Now staying in New York, we have the St. John the Divine Cathedral, where it of course has a large fire that damaged part of the cathedral.

There's no public evidence of a complete original set of engineering or mechanical blueprints yet again.

This is unbelievable.

Um, there's the Guggenheim.

There's St. John the Divine.

There's Central Park.

There's Times Square, even.

When it comes to architecture in the United States, we've got it all.

From Gothic revival masterpieces such as New York's Cathedral of St. John the Divine, to the modernistic glass and steel structures of Chicago, to the futuristic curvilinear buildings that shape Southern California.

Some edifices are awe-inspiring.

Others arouse indignation, such as the skill of melding the art of form with the science of function.
