a feeling of more lightness, of release and letting go.

Why do you say cathartic is a loaded term in this context? Catharsis gets used so much across literature that it starts to lose meaning.

For me personally, that term doesn't say enough.

It's overused.

What did you want to create with that? that you weren't finding somewhere else?

It started, it's an evolution of the Catharsis platform, which we spoke about, where Miles made luckily a nice podcast for it, which was really, really dope.

And from that platform, Catharsis, which was mainly three people, like I was the main head, just having the idea to do something with music, which goes a bit more deeper into more like also like a healing experience side because sound can be really healing and not necessarily doing like sound therapy for it but but but just have helping people through music discover themselves go a little bit deeper getting to know themselves a little bit more so that was the original idea of classes and then we split back then And I just wanted to keep that idea, which is still basically almost the same idea, I would say, but into, yeah, just the next level, basically, because we all evolved as human beings as well.

And that was the new development.

And OM transmission, yeah, stands from the OM, which is like a sacred sound.

It is a safe space for us to vicariously blow up our own lives and watch the fallout without actually ruining anything real.

If we connect this to the bigger picture of human psychology, you are describing the classical catharsis of fiction.

Catharsis, yeah.

Reviewer Krista Bagin makes a highly insightful point when she states that as a reader, she seeks to understand hidden things about herself.

Todd Lieberman, the producer attached to this project, he went on record saying he wants moviegoers to experience the exact same catharsis that the book readers experienced.

We have to analyze why audiences are currently starved for that specific feeling.

So, so, Catharsis, definitely.

And I did a little bit of work with the Care Leavers Association last year and ran a writing workshop for them because they're quite keen on getting people to write about their experiences.

And so I did a workshop on how to put your experiences on paper.

If you are going to put the viewer through that much sorrow, tension, and grief across multiple films, you also have to provide moments of joyous explosive release when the final battle finally arrives.

Catharsis is a mechanical requirement in a long-running action narrative.

You need that release.

If you only build tension without ever releasing it, the audience becomes exhausted.
